Jon Tyras
Jon Tyras is a Partner of CB1 Capital and our Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Jon has spent over 25 years in the industry. He was most recently the Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel of the public securities platform of Brookfield Asset Management, a leading global alternative asset manager with over $550 billion in assets under management across real estate, infrastructure, renewable power, private equity and credit.
Before his 10+ years with Brookfield, Jon was a capital markets attorney with Paul Hastings LLP for eight years. Prior to his admission to the New York Bar, he spent four years with Ernst & Young, where he was a Certified Public Accountant. He has Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Accounting, cum laude, from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
